Silver birch tree roundel large 3

A beautiful fused glass tree sculpture with the treetops seeming to grow out of the glass, giving life to the piece. Made from sheet glass cut to shape , glass powders and frit, formed and assembled in a kiln then fired at 755 degC to create this woodland springtime scene which evokes tBuckinghamshire countryside where I live. As it translucent, it is greatly affected bhe y the quality of light as it changes throughout the day, giving endless pleasure to the viewer.

Free standing in its frame, the piece measures approx. 35 cm wide x 38 cm tall. It can be placed on a window ledge, a shelf or any flat surface.
