GLASS FUSING WORKSHOPS

One day workshops for beginners or those wishing for an experience.

This workshop is designed to give an introduction to some of the delights of working with glass.  Glass fusing is a process where glass and decorative elements are fused together at high temperatures in a specialised kiln.  During the day you will learn how to handle and cut glass safely and how to design and assemble some simple fused glass pieces ready for firing.  Examples of items that you can create are a square coaster, a light catcher or a small dish/bowl.  However, if you have an idea of what you would like to make we can discuss this prior to the day and determine how we can accommodate your wishes.

Lunch may be booked spearately at the local pub across the road

No experience is required.  You will need a pair of sturdy shoes (no open toes) for safety.

Classes are small to enable individual attention at my studio in The Vale, Chesham.
