COPPERFOILING WORKSHOP

One day workshops for beginners or those wishing for an experience.

Copper foiling is a method of creating decorative glass art which is perfect for making gifts and smaller items.  It is an alternative to lead came, giving a similar effect for more delicate and detailed indoor projects.  You will learn how to cut and grind glass into shapes, how to apply and solder the copper foil to create a small art piece of your choice.  Once you have learned the techniques it is easy to continue this hobby at home without having to invest in particularly expensive materials or equipment.

At lunchtime we go to a local pub where you can buy sandwhiches or a full main meal. ( Paid for separately).

No experience is required.  You will need a pair of sturdy shoes (no open toes) for safety.

Classes are small to enable individual attention at my studio in The Vale, Chesham.
